Institute of Mine Seismology
Terra15 and the Institute of Mine Seismology (IMS) have formed a partnership to provide Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) data acquisition hardware, software, processing and interpretation services for seismic monitoring and imaging applications for mines. Our partnership provides the world's first and only real-time integration of DAS with conventional seismic monitoring systems.
IMS is the world’s leading provider of microseismic monitoring technology to mines. They are an independent private research organisation focused on developing methodologies, technologies and services for monitoring and modelling the seismic rock mass response to mining.
IMS uses DAS for:
- Geophysical imaging for mineral exploration
- Seismic interferometry and ambient noise tomography
- Monitoring of mining-induced seismicity
- Hydraulic fracture monitoring
- Tailings dam monitoring
MicroSeismic Inc.
Terra15 and MicroSeismic, Inc. formed a strategic partnership to provide monitoring solutions for geoscience and civil engineering applications using Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) / Distributed Fiber Optic Sensing (DFOS).
MicroSeismic's monitoring services provide critical data for Carbon Sequestration, Sinkhole Detection, Frac Driven Interactions, Enhanced Geothermal Systems, Induced Seismicity and Critical Infrastructure.
MicroSeismic uses DAS for:
- Carbon sequestration
- Geothermal stimulation
- Hydraulic fracturing
- Sinkhole growth and development
- Critical infrastructure monitoring
REMA Tip Top
Terra15 and REMA Tip Top formed a partnership to provide real-time monitoring solutions for conveyor systems, including roller failure detection, using Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) / Distributed Fiber Optic Sensing (DFOS).
REMA Tip Top's solutions offer complete, real-time monitoring of your conveyor systems. By detecting early-stage failures and delivering continuous data insights, you can reduce downtime, improve operational safety, and increase productivity—all while minimising the need for manual inspections.
